Looking for a furnished home for an extended stay? Here's what you need to know about our properties, stays, and process.

What is Liberty Square Residences? +
We offer professionally managed, fully furnished residences for extended stays across the NYC Metro area — designed for professionals, relocating individuals, and anyone seeking a high-quality furnished home for 30 days or more.
Who do you typically work with? +
We work with a wide range of individuals and organizations — including those on corporate or professional assignments, relocation and transition stays, project-based or extended work engagements, and insurance displacement placements. Our properties are intended for quiet, purpose-driven occupancy.
Where are your properties located? +
Our properties are located across the NYC Metro area, with a primary focus on Downtown Jersey City — one of the most transit-connected and walkable neighborhoods in the region. Residents enjoy quick access to Manhattan via PATH train, as well as proximity to waterfront parks, dining, and major highways. We are selectively expanding to other well-connected NYC Metro submarkets.
What is included with the stay? +
All homes are fully furnished and move-in ready, including utilities and high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and housewares, clean linens and essentials, and professional cleaning prior to arrival.
What are your stay terms and minimum length? +
We accommodate stays from 30 days, with most placements running 91 days or longer. Stays of 91+ days are generally preferred as they offer the most flexibility and predictability for both residents and property partners. We're happy to discuss your specific timeline — reach out and we'll find the right fit.
How is this different from a short-term or vacation rental? +
Our properties are purpose-built for extended professional stays, not nightly or vacation use. You can expect consistent quality standards, a residential environment that supports working from home, professional management and communication, and a stable, predictable housing experience for the duration of your stay.
Do you support insurance displacement and ALE stays? +
Yes. We regularly work with individuals and families placed through insurance carriers under Additional Living Expense (ALE) coverage, and coordinate directly with adjusters and relocation coordinators to make the process as smooth as possible.
How do I check availability or make an inquiry? +
Submit an inquiry through our contact page and our team will follow up promptly with availability, terms, and next steps. We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day.

Frequently asked questions
for property owners

Considering a partnership? Here's everything you need to know about how we work with residential and multifamily property owners.

What types of properties do you work with? +
We work with furnished apartments, townhomes, multifamily buildings, and commercial residential properties across the NYC Metro area and Jersey City. Most placements are in 1–3 bedroom units well-suited to extended stays, though we also work with larger multifamily operators looking to place residents across a portfolio.
How does the placement process actually work? +
We match residents from our extended-stay demand network with available properties, then work with you to finalize placement terms. The structure of each arrangement varies depending on the property type, owner goals, and available unit count — we tailor the approach to fit.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract? +
Partnership structures vary. Some owners work with us on a placement or referral basis; others — particularly multifamily operators or those seeking stabilization — may benefit from a more structured arrangement such as a master lease or direct operator agreement. We discuss what makes sense based on your goals and property profile.
How does this help with NOI, income diversification, and stabilization? +
Furnished extended-stay rentals typically command a meaningful premium over market-rate traditional leases — increasing effective gross income. Adding extended-stay demand also diversifies your income beyond conventional renters, reducing exposure to seasonal softness or traditional leasing cycles. For owners targeting a refinance or sale, stabilized occupancy directly strengthens your DSCR and property-level valuation.
What is the minimum stay length? +
Our minimum placement is 30 days, with stays typically running 91 days or longer. Extended placements offer more predictable income and lower turnover costs — but we're flexible and work to match the right resident to the right property and timeline.
Do you work outside of NYC Metro and Jersey City? +
Our roots and primary focus are the NYC Metro area and Jersey City — where we have deep demand relationships and operational infrastructure. That said, we selectively work with owners in other major metros where the property profile and demand environment make sense. Reach out and we'll let you know if we're active in your market.
When will I hear back after I submit my property? +
If your property looks like a fit for our network, we typically follow up within 48 hours to discuss next steps, structure, and any active placement opportunities in your market.
